Creative Punch Play: Tab + Square + More!
Scrapbook Live is one of my favorite ways to share creative project and ideas with you. This week we’re focusing on the Creative Memories Tab Punch. If you grabbed it during the recent sale, or if it’s been waiting in your stash, this project will give you a reason to put it to work.
For this border design, you’ll use the Tab Punch, the Square Punch, and one or two decorative punches of your choice. The steps are simple. Punch out your base shapes, layer them together, and add decorative elements for extra flair. The Tab Punch acts as the anchor. The Square Punch helps with balance. The decorative punches let you change up the look every time you make it. If the angular vibe of the square punch isn’t working for you, you can swap in the Circle Puch in its place.
Mix and Match your Creative Memories Shape Punches
What makes this border special is its flexibility. I showcase a birthday border in my handout example, but you can create a soft, delicate look by adding flowers or foliage. Celebrate your pets with the Pet Palace or Feline Dine Punches. Get ready for Christmas with the Holly or Bells & Bows Punches. Every punch swap creates a new version of the same design. It’s easy to make, but it never feels the same twice.
This project also works with any theme. Scrap your family memories, vacations, or holiday pages. The design adapts to your paper choices and the mood of your photos. That means you’ll get even more value out of tools you already own.
