Scrapbook Border Pairs – the Perfect Duo!

It’s the last Friday of the month, which means Scrapbook Live is all about borders.

For this session, I’m revisiting a Creative Memories blog ideas from 2019 that feature “border duos”—a coordinating pair of borders designed to work together. These duos can be used at the top and bottom of a single page or split across two pages for a cohesive look.

The original designs were created with the Timeworn Textures and Memoirs & Memories collections, along with the Gears and Jumbo Jet Border Maker Cartridges, all of which are now retired. Instead of recreating them exactly, I’ll be showing how to take the concept of those border duos and translate it using current Creative Memories products.

For my demo, I’ll be working with Copper Canyon 2 papers, embellishments, and stickers, along with more recently released punches. The goal is to show how timeless design ideas can easily be updated with what’s available now—no need to track down retired supplies.

If you’ve ever struggled with making borders feel intentional (instead of like an afterthought), this Scrapbook Live will give you practical ideas you can use right away, whether you scrapbook single pages or two-page spreads.

Join me live, or catch the replay if you’re watching later. As always, I’ll walk through the process step by step so you can adapt these border duos to your own projects.
