The Layout
This week’s Scrapbook Live project is fresh off the Creative Memories Blog — and it’s definitely one you’ll want to try! The featured design is a fun layout that may take a little patience (and a lot of adhesive), but the end result is absolutely worth the effort. It’s the kind of page that makes you stop and smile every time you flip through your album.
For my demo, I’ve given the layout a wild twist by adapting it for zoo photos. I’ll be working with the playful What a Zoo, Too collection from Creative Memories — the perfect mix of bold animal prints, earthy textures, and bright accents that capture the energy of a day spent exploring with the animals. Whether you have snapshots of lions lounging, giraffes grazing, or your family feeding the goats, this collection helps bring that adventure to life on the page.
One of the things I love about this design is how adaptable it is. On the blog, it’s shown as a single-page layout, but I’ll walk you through how to expand it into a cohesive two-page spread without doubling your time investment. It’s all about strategic paper placement, repeating key elements, and making the most of your adhesive to keep the look consistent and polished.
So, gather up your pics, stock up on tape runner refills, and join me for this Scrapbook Live session. You’ll leave with a layout that’s as fun and vibrant as the day you captured in your photos!
