Cats, Dogs and Everything in Between
For this episode of Scrapbook Live, I will be creating a single-page layout inspired by a project from the Creative Memories blog. The original layout features the Ruffin’ It collection, Creative Memories’ latest pet-themed release.
If you’re someone who’s been hoping for more pet-focused designs—especially cat-specific ones—you’re not alone. Creative Memories did not release a cat collection in 2026, so if that’s something you’d love to see in the future, you’re encouraged to share that feedback directly with CM. Product requests can be submitted to cmproductsuggestion@creativememories.com, and those suggestions really do matter when future collections are being planned.
For the Scrapbook Live demo, I’ll be using photos of Pip, our new family cat ?. While the blog layout highlights the Ruffin’ It collection, I’ll be mixing and matching papers to better suit my photos. This makes the layout a great example of how you can take a project recipe as a starting point and adapt it to fit your own stories, pets, and color preferences.
This layout works especially well if you’re documenting everyday moments with your pets—those simple, personality-filled photos that deserve a place in your albums. During the live demo, I’ll walk through how I interpret the original design, make paper substitutions, and pull everything together into a finished page.
If you’re planning to scrapbook along, you can use the Ruffin’ It collection, pull coordinating papers from your stash, or simply watch and gather ideas for a future pet-themed layout. As always, the goal is to give you a flexible design you can reuse again and again with different photos.
I hope you’ll join me live for this one—it’s a fun layout with lots of room for personalization.
