Scrapbook Live: Christmas Morning Layout

The Layout

It’s time for the 2-Way Corner Rounder to shine again! This classic Creative Memories tool is back in the spotlight for this Scrapbook Live project, proving once more that small design details can make a big visual impact. This layout is clean, eye-catching, and incredibly adaptable—one of those designs you’ll find yourself reaching for again and again throughout the year.

A Timeless Tool, A Fresh Look

The notched corners add just the right amount of softness and polish to the page without distracting from the overall design. Repeating that corner treatment throughout the layout creates a cohesive, finished look that feels intentional and balanced. It’s a great reminder that revisiting older tools can instantly refresh your creative process.

Simple, Cozy Photo Prep

For this Christmas morning scrapbook page, I created 4×6 collage prints, each made up of two 3×4 images. I put those together using the Project Life App right on my phone—quick, easy, and done from the comfort of my warm bed. Once ready, I printed them at home on my Epson PM-400 (aka my trusty scrap buddy), which makes it easy to move straight from idea to finished page.

Product Pairing for the Demo Layout

My demo layout features the (retired) Seasonal Sightings collection paired with Cranberry Cardstock, a combination that adds richness and warmth while keeping the design flexible. This layout translates beautifully to many themes—simply swap in different papers and colors to match the story you’re telling.

If you’re looking to recreate this exact look, the Shades of Seasonal Sightings Paper Pack is available in my Creative Memories shop and is a great coordinating option to have on hand.

Why You’ll Want to Try This One

This is the kind of layout that’s easy to repeat, easy to customize, and satisfying to complete. It highlights how a familiar tool can be used in a fresh way and encourages you to rediscover items already in your stash.

Sometimes all it takes is one great layout to remind us just how versatile our tools really are—and this one does exactly that.
