The Layout
For this week’s layout, I took a trip down memory lane and pulled from my personal archives. This design was originally created using the Burlap & Lace collection from Secret Box #1 in 2023. Back then, Creative Memories didn’t include project booklets with their Secret Boxes, so I made it a point to create layouts to share with my customers. After all, collecting supplies is fun—but creating pages with them is even better! I was thrilled when CM began including project booklets in 2024. While I still love designing layouts from scratch, the pace of new product releases makes those guides a huge help!
This layout is incredibly versatile and can be adapted to suit any collection you’re working with. While I offer a few suggestions for photo sizes and placement, the central open space is designed to work with whatever photos you have. I used the (now retired) 12-inch Decorative Trimmer for my version, but feel free to swap in a border punch or a Border Maker Cartridge like I did in the demo—whatever suits your style best!
